how long will my order take to process?
please allow for a processing time of roughly 10-14 business days. i aim to go to the post office wednesday or friday of a given week. if you're buying a ready-to-ship item right around a launch, turn around time will be quicker. if you ordered a pre-order item (the listing detail and description will designate this) it will take between 4-6 weeks. if you buy multiple pre-order items, this might extend the given turn around time by a couple weeks or so. please allow extra time around the holidays. i am a one-person run business, so thank you for understanding.
my order hasn't shipped yet and the estimated turn around time has passed, what is the reason for this?
thank you for your patience! here are a couple reasons some orders may take longer:
- ordering multiple pre-order items. pre-order items are often made to order and this means i have to buy the supplies and make the item after you order. since each pre-order item has a turn around time of 2-6 weeks, ordering multiple items will lead to longer wait times.
- picking ups as your shipping option. ups is further from me and i don't go there as often. because of this, your order might not go out as quickly as it would if you picked usps as your shipping choice.
do you accept returns?
at this time i do not accept returns. however, i want to do everything in my power to have fully satisfied customers. if you have issues with your order, contact me with this form or at thelastkindlyhome@gmail.com. alternatively for the quickest response, contact me on instagram.
is xyz product returning?
i get many questions about this, especially about embroidered apparel. i do my best to bring products back eventually, but sometimes i enjoy working on new ideas. the best way to be in the know about products returning is to sign up for emails and to follow me on instagram.
how should i care for my apparel?
turn inside out and machine wash cold. use gentle cycle and mild detergent. do not bleach and do not iron on design. ideally air dry to preserve the design. can dry on low but this will not guarantee the design will keep for as long as it could.
how should i care for my glass?
what is the proper candle burning etiquette?
before each burn, make sure the wick is trimmed to 1/4 of an inch. burn candle for the first time all the way to the edge of jar to prevent tunneling. always keep an eye on the candle and keep it away from objects that could burn. burn for no longer than four hours at a time. my 4 oz candles are best used in a smaller room to optimize scent throw.
